Highlighting Developments in Oman’s Vibrant Food Industry

Food Expo 2007 showcased a wide range of products related to food and beverage including food processing, packaging, and food production as well as food preparation and other services. The international exhibition was held on December 2-4, 2007 and it was formally inaugurated by H.E. Said bin Ibrahim bin Saud Al Busaidi, Deputy Governor of Muscat.

The three-day exhibition attracted the participation of leading companies in Oman as well as exhibitors from many countries including Germany, Syria, India, Thailand, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates. Food Expo 2007 was visited by hundreds of industry professionals, thus effectively bridging the gap between food manufacturers and distributors and between equipment suppliers and users.
