A Grand Event for All Motoring Enthusiasts
Motor Show 2008 prominently featured the newly launched
models of 16 popular automotive brands, such as Audi,
Chrysler, Citroën, Daihatsu, Dodge, Ford, Great Wall, Hino,
Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Peugeot, Seat, Skoda, Toyota, and
Volkswagen. The various types of vehicles on display
included 4-wheel drives, saloon cars, sports utility
vehicles, pickup trucks, luxury vehicles, sports cars,
sedans and hatchbacks, trucks, minis and convertibles. Many
of the new models were unveiled during the exhibition
itself, marking their formal introduction to the vibrant
auto market in the sultanate.
Motor Show 2008 also showcased all-terrain vehicles from
Yamaha and Polaris, Yamaha motorbikes and the Segway
personal transporter. In addition, the exhibition displayed
a wide selection of auto parts & accessories as well as
motoring products and services, including car loans,
heat-control films, comprehensive car servicing/maintenance,
automotive tyres, car insurance, Toyota genuine parts,
lubricants and many other products.
